Summer School 2024

Summer School is used to aid students in recovering mandatory credits that were failed during the past school year or previous  school years. In order to enroll a student in summer school, a student must be properly registered. See Below:
REGISTRATION for Summer School 2024 is now CLOSED
REGISTRATION FORMS - fill out and bring to registration on either June 25 or June 26. We will also have blank forms at registration. These forms are also supposed to be mailed home at the completion of the school year.
 
-Begins Monday, July 1st and runs through Friday, August 9th. 
-Students will be required to attend summer school daily.
-In high school classrooms, teachers and students will be utilizing the Edgenuity Learning System to access coursework and attempt to recover credit(s).
-In middle school classrooms, teachers will deliver live-teaching, focusing on key concepts and skills from the prior year's failed course.
- For high school students, Edgenuity login information will be given to students on day 1 of summer school (July 1st).
-Students are allowed no more than 3 absences from summer school (no exceptions). Failure to follow the attendance policy may lead to the student being dropped from the program.
-All grades are sent over to records at the completion of summer school to be added into the student's individual records.
-HIGH SCHOOL- Session times are scheduled Monday – Friday in three time slots (Session 1- 8-10:15 a.m.) (Session 2-   10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.) or (Session 3-   1:00-3:15 p.m.)  Session time slots are given at registration, but may be adjusted by administration based on availability.  All summer school courses will be held at Lakeview High School.
-MIDDLE SCHOOL- Session times are scheduled Monday – Friday in two time slots (Session 1- 8-11 a.m.)
(Session 2-  3-6 p.m.)  Session time slots are given at registration, but may be adjusted by administration based on availability.  All summer school courses will be held at Lakeview High School.
