IMPORTANT LATCHKEY INFORMATION

Hello Lakeview Families,

If you plan to utilize Lakeview’s Latchkey services for your Young Fives - 8th grade children, then please continue to read this ENTIRE email to learn more about the 2025-26 Latchkey Registration process.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO FAMILIES: ALL previous balances with the district must be paid before registering your child in preschool/latchkey for the 2025-26 school year. ANY PAST DUE ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, AUGUST 8^th at 12pm. After this time, you will be placed on a "PAST DUE LIST" with the district, which will delay your ability to register in Latchkey and will result in being placed on a latchkey waitlist. Please take care of this right away as space is limited within our programs.

Y5-8th Grade Latchkey

Latchkey Registration for Y5-8th grade students is an online process. When you register, you will be required to submit your requested schedule for the entire school year (with an opportunity to switch your schedule ONE time if needed, mid-year, as space allows). Due to staffing, spots are limited at each location. Please read our Latchkey Handbook BEFORE registering for Latchkey so that you are aware of ALL Scheduling and Billing policies that you are agreeing to prior to registering. If you do not already have an account in Eleyo, you will need to create an account to register. If you already have an Eleyo account (if your student attended any of our Latchkey and/or  Preschool programs anytime after 2022-23) please use THAT account and do not create a new one.

Please be advised that all families will be submitting their requested latchkey schedule when they register, and we will be placing students based on availability on a first come, first served basis. Your submission of schedule is your commitment to pay for the days and times requested, regardless of actual usage. If/When a space is available for your student, you will receive an email letting you know that your contract has been approved and it'll ask for you to pay your non-refundable Registration Fee. Please note, if you have a saved payment on file in Eleyo the Reg Fee will be automatically charged upon approval. If you do not have a saved payment on file, you'll have 1 week to pay your Reg Fee to secure your spot. We do recommend that you save a method of payment in Eleyo so that the Registration fee is collected automatically to ensure an easier registration process. 

Until you receive the contract approval email, your child is considered on our waitlist. Due to the high volume of Registrations, it will take some time to work through these lists, we appreciate your patience throughout this process.

As a friendly reminder, we will have hundreds of families registering over the next few weeks, and we will be working hard to create schedules that accommodate as many families as possible at each of our 6 schools.  If you have an urgent question, please direct those to [email protected] for a quicker response. Preschool Families
For families with children who are pre-registered for one of our Full Day Preschool and/or Full Day GSRP programs, you will be receiving a separate email with information regarding Preschool Latchkey Registration next week.
