Summer School 2023

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR Summer School 2023 (MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS)

Summer School is used to aid students in recovering mandatory credits that were failed during the past school year or previous  school years. In order to enroll a student in summer school, a student must be properly registered. See Below:

-Begins Wednesday, July 5th (for JMS/LHS students) and Monday July 10th (for LVS students) and runs through Friday, August 11th.
-Students will be required to attend summer school daily until the completion of their course.
-In class, teachers and students will be utilizing the Edgenuity Learning System to access coursework and attempt to recover credit(s).
- Once scheduled and summer school begins, students will be given partial access to the Edgenuity Program outside of their scheduled in-person sessions.  Edgenuity login information will be given to students on day 1 of summer school (July 5th).
-Students are allowed no more than 3 absences from summer school (no exceptions). Failure to follow the attendance policy may lead to the student being dropped from the program.
-Once a student completes a course, they no longer need to attend that session.
-All grades are sent over to records at the completion of summer school to be added into the student's individual records.
-Session times are scheduled Monday – Friday in three time slots (Session 1-   8-10:15 a.m.) (Session 2-   10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.) or (Session 3-   1:00-3:15 p.m.)  Session time slots are given at registration, but may be adjusted by administration based on availability.  All summer school courses will be held at Lakeview High School.
